Understand the equipment agreement

Know who is responsible while equipment remains

Have each unit, location, purpose, power need, access route, monitoring contact, duration charge, and removal criterion described. Ask what to do if it stops, alarms, shifts, or blocks needed access. Do not move, unplug, or improvise connections. Record interruptions and ask whether they change the provider plan rather than assuming the result.
