Notify the landlord or management contact through the lease route and keep the message. Give room, time, source observations, hazards, belongings affected, and access needs. Identify which contents belong to the tenant and which building work needs owner approval. Contact the tenant insurer for contents questions. Do not authorize demolition or disposal beyond actual authority.
