Questions before a wet wall is opened

An opening needs a reason and a boundary

Ask which surface was observed, what may be concealed, and why a proposed opening is needed. Identify paint, wallboard or plaster, trim, insulation, wiring concerns, and adjoining rooms without assuming condition. Before disturbance, ask who assesses older-material hazards. Record the opening extent, protection, debris, drying, reconstruction, and exclusions.
